At the beginning of the Kumkum Bhagya 23th February 2023 Written Update, Ranbir tells Lali that he wants to adopt Khushi. For a moment, Lali addresses Ranbir as a deity human being, which makes Ranbir happy. And suddenly she changes her form.

Then Ranbir comes home with a hanging face. Palvi and Dadi start asking him to report what happened. Then Ranbir tells that he tried to talk but could not find the right atmosphere. But one thing was definitely understood that her mother does not love Khushi at all. She was having a bad toothache.

And then everyone together makes a plan that by whatever means they have to bring Khushi to this house before someone else takes her to their house. Ranbir says that this matter is not that easy, so one has to think before doing anything. He will take advice from his lawyer, then together they will decide.

Prachi reaches Khushi’s house to meet her. Khushi opens the door and talks to Prachi. Khushi wears old clothes, which Prachi sews with a needle and thread. Khushi’s mother was busy in the room with her boyfriend. And as soon as she comes out, Prachi starts talking to her.

Prachi becomes very emotional and starts telling about her daughter Panchi. And says that whenever she sees Khushi, she misses her daughter. That’s why she wants to adopt her. On which Lali talks about thinking about it. And sends Prachi away.

Lali and her lover become happy and start planning to demand a lot of money from Prachi so that their dream can come true. After getting the money, both of them start planning to get married.

कुमकुम भाग्य एपिसोड के शुरुआत में रणबीर लाली से बात करता है की वह ख़ुशी को अपनाना चाहता है. एक पल के लिए लाली रणबीर को देवता इंसान कहते हुए संबोधित करती है जिससे रणबीर खुश हो जाता है. और अचानक वह अपना रूप बदल देती है.

वह रणबीर से कहती है की अगर उसने ख़ुशी को उसे सौंप दिया तो काम कौन करेगा? वो लोग खायेंगे क्या? रणबीर उसे समझाने की कोशिश करता है पर वह नहीं मानती है और उसे डांटते हुए वहां से जाने के लिए कहती है. और न जाने पर वह चिल्लाकर लोगों को इकठ्ठा कर लेगी और कहेगी की यह आदमी उसके बच्चे को चुराने आया है.

रणबीर मायूस होकर वहां से लौटने लगता है. उधर घर पर पल्लवी और दादी मारे ख़ुशी के लड़ाई करने लगते हैं. और दोनों सोचते हैं की वहां रणबीर के साथ क्या हुआ होगा? क्या ख़ुशी की माँ राजी हो गई है या नहीं? दोनों एक दुसरे को पूछते हैं.

और फिर सब लोग मिलकर प्लान बनाते हैं की कैसे भी करके ख़ुशी को इस घर में लाना है इससे पहले की कोई और उसे अपने घर लर जाये. रणबीर कहता है की यह मामला इतना आसान नहीं है इसलिए कुछ भी करने से पहले सोचना होगा. वह अपने वकील से सलाह ले लेता है फिर मिलकर फैसला करेंगे.

प्राची, ख़ुशी से मिलने उसके घर पहुँच जाती है. ख़ुशी दरवाजा खोलकर प्राची से बात करती है. ख़ुशी पुराना कपड़ा ही पहने होती है जिसे प्राची सुई धागा लेकर सिल देती है. ख़ुशी की माँ अपने यार के साथ कमरे में बिजी थी. और जैसे ही वह बाहर आती है, प्राची उससे बात करने लगती है.

प्राची बहुत इमोशनल हो कर अपनी बेटी पंछी के बारे में बताने लगती है. और कहती है की वह जब भी ख़ुशी को देखती है उसे अपनी बेटी की याद आती है. इसलिए वह उसे गोद लेना चाहती है. जिसपर लाली इस विषय में सोचकर बताने की बात करती है. और प्राची को विदा कर देती है.

लाली और उसका आशिक खुश हो जाते हैं और प्राची से ढेर सारे पैसों की मांग करने की योजना बनाने लगते हैं ताकि उनका सपना पूरा हो सके. पैसा मिलने के बाद वो दोनों शादी करने की प्लानिंग करने लगते हैं.
